IRAN

Iran, a land of myths and fairy tales, but also a country with a long hunting tradition. The country has eight different species of wild sheep, there are ibexes, gazelles and incredibly strong wild boars. There are even small remaining populations of the Asian leopard and cheetah in Iran. The strength of the wild boars in Iran is well known. Tusks of +25 cm are not uncommon and as far as the width is concerned, they are often +30 mm. One of the most interesting and well-known wild goats in Iran is the bezoar. The bezoar is hunted primarily in northwestern Iran, which is where all the record trophies of recent years come from.
